Terms
These terms
These terms apply to Yeri: the site at yeri.app, its API and its browser extension (together, "Yeri"), and to the person who runs it ("we"). By using Yeri you accept them. If you don't, don't use it.
You must be of legal age where you live, and allowed there to use services like this one, to use Yeri.
What Yeri is
Yeri reads past prices and says how what one token buys of another today compares with the last month. It's a description of the past, shown as plain words (a good moment, better wait) and a chart.
Yeri is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. A good moment by Yeri's reading can be followed by a better or a worse one. Prices come from third parties and can be late, incomplete or wrong. Decide for yourself, and get advice from a professional if you need it.
Swaps
Yeri never holds your funds or your keys, and can't move anything on your behalf. A swap is built by a third party (LI.FI and the exchanges and bridges it routes through), shown to you in your own wallet, and made only if you sign it there. Yeri isn't a party to it, isn't an exchange, broker or custodian, and doesn't control those third parties or the blockchains they use.
Before you sign, Yeri shows what the route says it gives, the least it guarantees, and its fees. What you actually receive can differ: prices move, and routes, bridges and networks can be slow, fail or charge more than estimated.
A swap made from Yeri carries Yeri's fee, currently 0.25% of the amount, besides the route's own fees and the network's. Every fee is shown before you sign. Fees may change; the ones shown at the time are the ones that apply.
A transaction on a blockchain is final: once signed and sent, neither we nor anyone else can reverse it. Check the amount, the tokens, the chain and the receiving address every time.
Risks
Crypto assets are volatile and risky: you can lose some or all of what you swap. Smart contracts, bridges and blockchains can have bugs, be attacked or stop working, and funds sent through them can be delayed or lost. Tokens can lose their value, be delisted, or turn out to be fraudulent. You use Yeri, and make any swap, at your own risk.
What's yours to do
You're responsible for your wallet, its keys and its security, for every transaction you sign, and for any taxes on it.
You're responsible for making sure that using Yeri, and any swap you make, is legal where you are. Don't use Yeri if you're subject to sanctions, or for anything unlawful, including laundering money or hiding where it comes from.
Don't misuse Yeri: don't try to break it, overload it, get around its limits, scrape it in bulk, or use it to harm others. Using its API within its published limits is welcome.
No warranty
Yeri is provided as it is and as available, free to read, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it's accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure or fit for a particular purpose. We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time, without notice.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss or damage arising from using or relying on Yeri, or from not being able to, including lost funds, lost profits, a price that moved, a swap that failed or arrived late, or the acts of third parties (LI.FI, exchanges, bridges, wallets, blockchains, price sources).
Where the law doesn't allow liability to be excluded, ours is limited to the fees Yeri received from your swaps in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Third parties
Yeri links to and works with services it doesn't run: LI.FI, wallets, blockchains, price sources, explorers. Their own terms and policies apply to your use of them.
Your data
What Yeri keeps, sends and to whom is in the privacy note, at yeri.app/privacy.
Changes, and the rest
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed; using Yeri after a change means accepting the new version.
These terms are governed by the law that applies to the person who runs Yeri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute goes to the courts that law makes competent, except where consumer law gives you the right to go to your own. If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
